PAINTINGS BY GOSHA KARPOWICZ

“Karpowicz’s paintings are evocative.  They inspire an emotional experience of color, becoming a mirror of human drama.  Colors contract and expand, pulsate from within, as they oscillate between light and darkness, changing in luminosity.

The ephemeral mood of Karpowicz’s paintings is inspired by her observations of life and nature.

Gosha Carpowicz grew up in the countryside of communist Poland and defected to the United States to live and paint where freedom of expression is encouraged. She graduated from Parsons School of Design.  She recently exhibited at the Hopper House in Nyak, Equity Gallery NYC, Interchurch Center NYC, and the Museum of Contemporary Art Elektrownia in Poland, amongst many other venues.”
