 “Can I know life’s reality
So that it’s found again
Within my soul’s creative urge?
I feel that I am granted power
To make my self, as humble part,
At home within the cosmic self.”

A call for deeper exploration of one’s self in Rudolf Steiner’s Verse 35, from the Calendar of the Soul,
ushers in the four weeks of Advent as a preparation for the Twelve Holy Nights of Christmas.

All are welcome to all gatherings.

December 1, 2019, at 5 pm: 1st Advent Sunday

Advent Garden (for adults)

We will create and walk together a traditional evergreen spiral pathway as an image of the path through Advent to Christmas. Enter a space lit by candle lights and resonating with the sounds of lyre to connect with your own inner light.

Making holiday decorative crafts (for children and adults)

Learn how to make Waldorf stars from colorful paper, some to take home with you and some to decorate our space. No prior experience necessary. Children are welcome to come with their parents.

December 15, 2019, at 5 pm: 3rd Advent Sunday

Storytelling (for children and adults)

Come to our warm Auditorium and listen to stories from Christmas Roses, a collection of legends for Advent. Bring friends and children to enjoy together an hour of storytelling.

December 22, 2019, at 5 pm: 4th Advent Sunday

Reading an advent lecture (for adults)

We will read and contemplate “Lecture I” from the Heart Lectures by Ehrenfried Pfeiffer, given on December 17, 1950, at the Threefold Farm in Spring Valley, NY.

“The human heart is an organ where a bridge is being built between the physical body and spiritual entity.”

“You have in you a creative sun that radiates light and warmth.”
